    Twittering Away

    • Social networking

By the way, I recently signed up for Twitter (yes, I know, it's about time) and I twittered (tweeted? What's the correct verb?) throughout the seminar as I found interesting quotes. You can follow me here.

    Learning to Twitter

Submitted by MikeDarling on Wed, 07/30/2008 - 10:11pm.

    Welcome Don to Twitter.

I have been sporadically tweeting or twittering (I love the social bookmarking words) and it is fun, though I haven't seen real traffic yet.

And I just figured out tonight how to reply to a comment!

Hey, Mike! I'm boggled by the people I see who are following thousands of others. It seems to be a game to see who can get the most.

    Twitter for Blog Traffic

Submitted by MikeDarling on Fri, 08/01/2008 - 6:42am.

Hey Don, perhaps you could test this yourself by twittering about your blog and blog posts, and then check your logs to see how much traffic you get to your blog from twitter.

If you suddenly find traffic, then twitter about your products, etc.

    Just an idea...

    Twitter for Traffic

Submitted by MikeDarling on Fri, 08/01/2008 - 6:25am.

Yeah, and it appears that twitter posts become website pages/posts, which Google crawls. So I twitter because it is fun, and because maybe I can get traffic!

The jury is out though. I am testing this to see if it is true.
